New for 2006, La Domaine de la Lion Rouge comprises of a group of newly renovated granite stone houses in a tiny hamlet,
with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. 
A truly traditional french setting.

Available for rent individually or as a group sleeping from 1 to 22 persons.

The Gites are situated between the historic town of Rochechouart and the traditional market town of St. Junien (10 min. drive), with many restaurants close by in the surrounding villages.  The area is renowned for its 500-acre lakes with man-made beaches, ideal for water sports, swimming and fishing.  Other facilities close by include 3 18 hole golf courses, go-carting and an excellent zoo.

 The porcelain city of Limoges is within easy reach and the Gites are ideally placed for exploring this region of France, with its many interesting villages and medieval towns. 

 Limoges airport is only 30 minutes drive away.  Bergerac airport is around 1hour, and  Calais is around a 6 ½ hour’s drive away.

Inside
The houses have been renovated to a high standard, retaining many original features, including exposed beams.  The decoration and furnishings are very comfortable and tasteful and have been completed to produce a home from home effect.
